Rude things people do that annoy me

The following is a list of things people do that I think is kind of rude. 

 

1. when someone is walking in a straight line and there is clearly space next to him for another person to pass,  the person coming in from the opposite direction rather going into the walkway that has space jumps into the path of the person coming towards him. 

I was walking down the stairs and I was half way down the stair case with lots of space for people to go in the oppoiste direction on the other side of the stair case.  This guy rather then taking the empty lane sees me and starts walking up into the side where I am already walking down.  Seeing as how I was on the stair case first I didnt budge.  I didnt say excuse me and I shoulder checked him. The fucking douche.  The other side of the stair case already had people walking up it and he could have easily taken it.  Instead he chose to try to push me around.

2.  When someone stops on the staircase in front of you to check their text messages. How hard is it to check your texts when you get downstairs or before you get on.  Or text and walk.  

I was trying to go down the stairs once and again this was a staircase big enough for 2 lines.  Both lines were full of people coming up the stairs.  This girl was the last in one of the lines stops on the second to last step to look at her phone.  At that point I stopped politely waiting and just bumped my way through.  She had the audacity to get angry.  Rude behavior should be fought with rude behavior in my opinion.  

3.  When there are all these free seats available and someone comes and sits next to you.

4.  Same thing as #3 but with treadmills.  Also I dont like people talking to me on the treadmill cuz I am running at a high speed and I am tired and out of breath and trying not to fly off of it.  

5.  When you are alone and people think you want to chat with them and listen to their fucking conversation.  Most of these single serving conversations are just bullshit small talk filler with no useful information and are honestly really boring.   And a lot of the time these people wont even let you speak.  They are basically talking at you instead of to you.  And then if you do see them again they remember nothing of what you told them and ask you the same questions again.  Forcing you to relive the same boring conversation again.  If you read this by some chance then know that people dont like listening to monologues.

6.  Not letting you get off the elevator and trying to shove their way on.  Let people off the elevator it frees up space.

 People will try to torment no matter what age you are. No matter where you are in life.  Whether you are school or close to being 40 years old.   Stop asking why they do what they do and learn to stand up for yourself.  There is no valid excuse for anyone to be tormented.  And making a mistake in your life is not grounds for someone else to crucify you for it.  Always remember that one day the guy that is hassling you for the mistake that you made will make a mistake himself.  Then lets see how he likes hearing endless bullshit about it. 

What I just said is pretty generic and kind of out of context.  I understand what I wrote in the paragraph above cuz I live it but who knows if someone else will. If you stumble upon this searching for answers on what to do about people bullying you or why they are bullying you then Idk what to tell you other then return whatever they give you tenfold.  Even if it makes you look crazy.  Even if it makes you an outcast.  Or just live with being a joke in your group "Friends"  its your choice. 

Anyway Im at work and I needed to borrow something from a co-worker and he made some lame ass joke so I made one back to him.  He said my joke was weird and tries to develop a nickname for me.  The entire work group starts making fun of me and calling me this nickname.  Anyway in the beginning it was ok but these cocksuckers wouldnt drop it.  I guess they think Im their friend or they like me.  But in all honestly repeatedly telling me the same joke and boring small talk just straight up sucks.  And I dont like it.  

The next day I show up to work a few minutes early and everyone is already there sitting around in a big circle outside smoking cigarettes. First of all I think cigs smells horrible and it kind of makes me feel sick so I already dont want to be around these people.  Second of all I want to go inside and sit down.  So I bypass them one of the people turned to me and said hello normally to me and I mumbled it back.  No one else in the group heard but the guy who gave me my unwanted nickname started yelling it.  I didnt reply or look his direction.

I didnt reply or look his direction for many reasons.  Here is the list why:

1.Its early morning

2.  I am tired.

3. I dont feel like talking at that particular moment

4.  The unwanted nickname is not my name and I will not reply to it

For some reason the entire group got offended.  And the guy came up to me later asking me "what the fuck?"  and I proceeded to tell him that I mumbled hello to that one guy and that counted for the entire group.  Then I laughed because I thought what I did was hysterical.  I doubt the reader thinks so but whatever.  Anyway he was telling me how he was offended and he didnt want to work with me.  And then I told him to tell our supervisor to switch him or me to a different work group.  Nothing really was resolved and it wasnt an escalating confrontation.  He actually ended up going home sick 2 hours later so that also probably helped it not escalating.  

Then I went home and thought about it.  And I didnt say this at the time cuz I was kind of on the spot and didnt think about it.  I didnt want to be in that group that makes me be the joke of the group.  Fuck those people altogether.  I regret not telling this guy to go fuck himself.  Cuz I was right.  And I will do it again.  Especially with these particular people.  This guy didnt come back to work for 2 days and our project got completed.  For some odd reason my unwanted nickname disappeared (temporarily most likely) and everyone started being  oddly nice to me.  Weird how this happened even though there were no angry confrontations or beyond involved.   I am wary of these people.  

Even though these people were starting to be nice.  On my last day I took the long way to work instead where they wouldnt even see me enter the building and I got there 5 minutes before everyone else. 

I got moved to a new project because of completion and it is at a different office so for now I wont have to deal with people from that group.  But the next time I hear that nickname the person calls me it will hear an earfull of nastiness back including mentioning of dead family members etc.  And I will be ready to escalate to a fight.  I dont care about being fired Im not letting any cocksucker push me around.  If I get crowned rude then so be it. 

 But that morning my thought process was Im not their dog and I dont come running to their beck and call to be insulted.

The problem with friendships and dating in the United States

 To build off my extrovert vs introvert post.  I hate when friends insult you and that it is a tolerated part of the friendship. 

Ive never liked it my entire life. I just let it go so that I would I actually have friends. Ive been apart of many groups of friends.  I had one group in elementary/junior high.  I was in another group in high school.  And I was in a third group in college.  All these people were backstabbing pieces of shit.  We would always make fun of each other.  But they would always do it in front of girls etc.  Towards the end of college I was fed up this.  I got tired of never getting girls cuz someone made fun of me.

Girls are stupid for the most part.  They dont think for themselves.  They go with the general consensus regardless if its right or wrong.  A lot of them dont even think about either choice they just go with the majority rule.  So if  a group of guys is making fun of someone they will join the group against them.  If one girl rejects you she will poison other girls against you as well.  This is my experience/opinion. 

I dont like making friends anymore.  I am in my 30s and I am just fed up with all the games.  People try to put you down in front of other people to make themselves look good.  I am not quick with the comebacks either so I will just insult the guy back.  I will bring in their sister dying of cancer if I have to get back at them.  If you don't want to be insulted dont fuck with me.  Otherwise I will get nasty.  

Idk what the problem with dating is.  I never understood why girls will just ignore your text to reject you.  It takes 2 seconds to answer.  Say "no" or say "Im busy".  Everyone knows girls look at their phones 24/7.  Anyway if a girl ignores my text I will delete the number and never speak to her again.  As far I am concerned the ball is in her court.  If I see her I will not even  come up to her.  And if she says something to me I will try to end the conversation quickly.  You ignore me I ignore you back. 

 I am not a casanova by a long shot.  I stopped asking out girls and trying to make friends cuz honestly it was making me miserable for the aforementioned reasons.  I would like to get married and have kids but it is really not my decision to make its hers.  In the mean time I am pretty happy doing my hobbies.  

On another matter I never understood why people ignore texts.  Just say you are not interested or have other things going on.  Maybe the world would be a better place if people were more truthful.  

Some girl came up to me and we were talking.  She was very good looking.  I would never go up to her myself cuz she was too good looking and I didnt think I would have a shot.  Anway I guess she thought was funny cuz she kept on grabbing my arm and laughing. Then she asked me for my number.  In my head I was thinking no way  I cant believe this.  We exchanged numbers.  So guess what happened?  I texted her and she ignores my text.  Wtf?  I was crushed.  Even though I dont like my texts being ignored I understand that is the risk I take in asking for it.  But this time I didnt ask she asked me.  Come on.   I saw her again 3 months later.  I saw her she didnt see and I went to the other side of the room cuz I wanted no part of her conversation cuz I felt like shit as soon as I saw her.  She looked hot that day too.  But I stayed away.  She noticed me 45 minutes later.  I heard her talking shit to her friends about how I didnt say hello to her.  

Idk Ive been in the situation many times before that day and Ive gone up to the girl and gotten nothing and felt foolish and wished that I had done nothing.  So that time I said fuck it I am keeping out of it and let her come to me.  Of course that gets me nothing as well lol.  With girls all the answer choices seem to be wrong.  If I ask them out they say no.  If I dont ask them out I still dont get the date.  Go figure. 

Extroverts vs introverts

 Ive been googling certain things lately and came across these 2 vocabulary words.  I don't really think I am an introvert.  But I am not an extrovert. 

I hate when people put me on the spot and ask me why I am not talking.  I hate being in the spot light.  I get sweaty and nervous it fucking sucks.  I will start hating people who do that to me too.  Especially if it is a repeat offender.  One guy when I was in school years ago kept on doing it to me.  Any time he would ask me why Im not talking etc. I would tell him the truth that I hated him and I thought he was boring.  I would curse at him.  This fucking loser thought that I was joking. But I was serious I didnt like him at all.  

 Last couple years of my life I try to avoid conversations with boring people.  If I see one of these boring people in the street I will try to cross to avoid talking to them or turn around and walk the other way.  When I was in college this girl who rejected me kept following me around with her bf to try and friend zone me.  I walked about a half a mile out of my way in the wrong direction to go home and I still ended up bumping into her (lol).  

What constitutes a boring person in my eyes.  Someone who comes up to me and pulls me out of my deep thoughts and tries to talk to me about stuff I am not interested in.  Such as their kids or work or stuff from school (I finished school long ago but this is one of things that made me develop into who I am).  Someone who keeps making unfunny jokes especially those that are at my expense.  A girl who tries to put me in the friend zone.  Someone who just has to have a conversation with you instead of just letting it be silent.  Someone who keeps making the same unfunny joke over and over.    Basically an Extrovert.  I hate extroverts.  I dont understand why people cant say hello and move on.  

There is a concept from curb your enthusiasm called stop and chat.  Larry David hates the stop and chat and so do I. 

Back to the guy I cursed out about 10 times who thought I was joking.  He finally realized that I hated him on the day when I was talking to someone else about something and he randomly butted into the coversation told me I was a lazy piece of shit and that he was going to smack me in the face.  Well I cursed him out for the 11th or 12th time and I told him to mind his fucking business and I told him to go fuck his mother.  I was prepared to bring in any of his family members (alive or dead) just to disrespect him and I was ready to fight him.  I yelled this in front of the whole class including the teacher.  Nobody stood up for him.  Nobody told me what I said was out of line (which it was).  And the teacher didnt ask me to leave or even mention it to me later at all (Lol).  He was basically the class clown in a class where everyone was too old for the nonsense and he had worn out everyone's patience.  He clammed up quick and was very upset with me.  But nothing ever came out of it.  Funny thing after this is other people yelled at him in the following weeks for insulting them.  He finally stopped talking for the rest of the semester after the third person yelled at him. 

The reason I did this was because this type of behavior is so annoying that I would rather get punched in the face then listen these people and their crap conversations.  This event is why I dont think I am introverted but I feel for the true introverts. 

Honestly if you are the type that hates to be the center of attention and people throw you into the spot light when you dont want to be there.  Let them know that its not ok.  Stand up for yourself.  I feel that it is a form of harrassment.  The reason why I think that being thrown into the spotlight against your will is harrassment is because you dont like it and you dont want to be there.  Why should you allow someone to do something you dont like to you?  If you dont have the backbone developed to speak up for yourself take an MMA class or something.  But you will have to develop your backbone because in order to live the life that you want from time to time you will have to be ready to fend off enemy attacks.  That is my opinion.  With that guy whos mother I insulted after I yelled at him.  Other people voiced their displeasure with him in the following days.  By me standing up for myself I knocked him down a peg.  What these types of assholes do is bring you down so that they can look like the big shot in front of everyone.  That is why you will have to be prepared to defend yourself.  Dont be cannon fodder for some douchebag loser trying to get one over on you. 

I got all sorts of stories like that mother fucker guy and the girl with the bf.  

Last story.  I diet hard and eat healthy.  Once a kid threw me a piece of candy.  I couldnt eat it because I was trying to stick to my diet and I couldnt afford the calories.  He got upset and started asking me questions about the way I live my diet life.  I was tired and didnt feel like explaining myself.  I told him outright that I didnt care it and I didnt want to have a conversation.  He either didnt understand or thought that  I was joking because he kept on trying to talk to me.  So then I asked him to let me out.  He defintatley didnt get that cuz he asked me "let you out of what?"  and I told that I wanted to be let out of the conversation.  If he kept on I was prepared to offer him at least $1 to get out of the conversation.  But he let me out other then a hello here and there we never spoke again.  This ended more amicably.  If he hated me or was mad at me it he was to scared or just didnt want to resort to violence over it.  

Look I am not going to sit here and say that my way is right.  But being in these kinds of conversations is pure torture to me.  I understand that its not going to win me any friends or get me any girls.  But I will say what I have to say to live my life in an enjoyable way.  To hell with manners.  Just tell the truth.  Do you really want to be friends with boring people ??

Random thoughts and observations

 Sometimes I google things that I think and the only search results I get are the opposite of what I am looking for.  

Whenever this happens I am going to publish what I am thinking in case someone else is looking for the same thing.  

This blog is now going to have random thoughts of mine in it too.  I had all sorts of reviews planned out but I moved into a new apartment and things got crazy in my life so I had to take a break from this and other projects I was working on. 

Things in bleach that I wish were expanded on

 1.  Kido- There are so many magic spells in this show that look cool but we are never given proper explanations regarding them.  Characters just seem to do kido at random with random numbers. 

 

There even was a kido corps but none of it was expanded on including who replaced Tessai and Hachi as the top 2 officers after the Turn back the pendelum arc.

 

2.  Vizards/Gotei 13 in the past-  I loved the turn back the pendelum arc.  I liked the whole origin of how the vizards came to be. I would have loved to see more of Turn back the pendelum.  There was a bleach character book (I think it was masked) that expanded on it but I never read it.  It showed a bunch of captains and vice captains.  Byakuaya and Omaedas parents.  Ginrei as captain of squad 6 and the Kenpachi that was before kenpachi zaraki.  

 

I would also have liked to see the 10th squad captain before Isshin.  Unless Ishin was captain at the time and just not shown.  But he should have been shown as there was an emergency captains meeting.  Same thing with the previous kenpachi.  It wouldve been cool to see zaraki beat the previous kenpachi in a full battle that would last an episode.

 

Also the Vizards never got expanded on at all.  Aizan just kicked their asses.  I would have like to see all their Bankais.  I know Lisa had bankai cuz she became squad 8 captain at the end.  

 

4.  Hisagi- Man I just watched his fight during fake karakura town arc.  Hes a gangster.  I feel he should have gotten as much or more exposure than hitsugaya.  

 

5.  Neliel Tu Oderschwank-  She should have had more of her espada past shown.  How come only Nnoitara remembered her?  She encountered all the fall espada and none of them batted an eye at her.  

6.  Shikais/Bankai-  A lot of the sword releases go unrevealed at the end.  What was Aizan's bankai?  

I feel like FKT arc should have had Aizan pushed against the ropes then use Bankai then the Hogyoku.  Instead he skips to the Hogyoku and turns into a weird pointy ear guy.  

Demon Slayer anime review

 Demon Slayer is a so-so anime.  It has some fantastic story and action moments.  But it also has its kinda corny moments.  

My major issue with this show is the crying.  A lot of characters cry on this show and it gets fucking annoying.  Every episode has at least one character is crying. Also inoske is a shitty character and I hate him.  

 As for honestly everything is else is pretty good.  The story is great.  The mythos is great and leaves you wanting to learn more about the world.  Also the action scenes and sword techniques of the powers the characters are really cool.  

The animation is nothing to get excited about.  It kind of looks like the last season of seven deadly sins. Its not a deal breaker and still watchable.  I would not watch this show again but I would watch the second.

milwaukee m12 12-volt lithium ion hackzall cordless reciprocating saw Review

 Milwaukee hackzall review.  Aka little milwaukee sawzall that you can carry in your bag.  I got this from home depot on a black friday sale for $100 plus shipping.  With shipping it was ~ $110.  Came with a charger, 1 battery, a little bag and the tool itself.

I knew about this tool cuz another guy at work had it and I loved it.  Truthfully I think I should have opted for a more powerful battery (the milwaukee 2719). I have seen that get better reviews.  

Honestly this version I got is a piece of shit. The battery is horrendous and dies really fast. I could only make 4 cuts on a 1/4 inch rod before the battery died.  Had to make about 15 cuts and it took me 4 hours cuz I had to constantly recharge the battery.  

This thing is garbage and was a complete waste of money.  I use the bag for other tools.  So basically I paid $110 for a bag.  DO NOT BUY THIS.  

Home depot puts this onsale for the same price with the same bundle every black friday and memorial day( or labor day I mix these two up all the time).  DONT fall for it.  IT SUCKS!!!!!

If you want this spend the extra money on the 2719.  Or even just buy a real sawzall.  If you cheap out you will just end up spending more money in the long run getting another one.  

 I dont even know what to do with this thing cuz I dont want to use it cuz of the bad battery it is just taking up space in my closet.  

On scale of 1 to 10.  I give this a 2/10 just cuz the bag is awesome.  Otherwise fuck this thing.  The m12 is dog shit.  

samurai champloo anime review

This anime is pretty damn good.  I give it an 8/10.  It is about a girl who manipulates to ronin in assisting her in a search for a mysterious samurai who smells of sunflowers.  

The overall search for this man progresses very slowly.  The beginning of the show is mostly one shot episodes featuring the characters getting themselves into dangerous or humorous situations.  We get to know the characters.  The characters get to know each other making an enjoyable experience for the viewer.  The sword fights are really amazing and entertaining.  The main reason I watched this show is cuz I just finished watching kenshin not to long ago and had an urge to watch more samurai action.  

This show depicts a more darker tone on the way samurais acted back in those days.  Whether it is historically realistic or not Idk.  I dont research stuff like this do it yourself.  While the samurai atmosphere is dark in this show it is not too dark.  Blade of the immortal and the movie 13 assassins was too dark for me.  But the darkness of samurai champloo was just right.  

The artwork is great as well.  

There are drawbacks to this show.  The ending was a little depressing for me.  And tbh Idk if I would rewatch this show.  That is where it lost points on when I decided to give it a rating.  

If you want to see some awesome samurai action watch this show.  It is short only about 26 episodes and it is better then alot of other stuff out there today. 

After War Gundam X review

This is a pretty good anime.  I am giving this a 7/10.  It was entertaining and has a lot of positive points but it also has its drawbacks.  Both of which will be touched on in this review.  

I finished this anime in its entirity.  It has a lot of good actions scenes.  I enjoyed the music in it as well.  The opening songs are fantastic and gave me goosebumps every episodes.  But the best feature of this anime is that the characters are all lovable and easy to care for.  This is the first show where I didnt completely hate even a single character.  Not all of them got their backstories fleshed but it doesnt matter to me I still like them.  Garod and Tiffa are fucking great and it is hard not to root for them to be together.  

There are drawbacks to this anime.  The artwork and animation are god awful ( I guess that is what you get for early to mid 90s).  It honestly looks like something from 1978.  The animation and artwork style look exactly like that of the show gatchaman.  The gundams look like poor mans versions of a few of them from gundam wing.

X and double X look like Gundam wing.  Royabea gundam looks like heavy arms. The older frost Brothers gundam looks like epyon.  I think Gundam X was before Gundam wing in terms of release dates.  

The story is a little weird i watched all the way through and still have a hard time describing what a newtype actually is.  

I enjoyed it a lot but I would not re-watch this.  It also takes a while to get hooked on this.  I was considering dropping this until about episode 12. That is when it starts to get interesting.  Only reason I even stuck around that long is cuz I read reviews that said this show as great.  

Overall it loses points for the aformentioned drawbacks and I would not re-watch it for these exact reasons.  But it is decent if you have nothing else to watch.

Various anime's (and some examples) that bleach copies

 I love bleach.  It is my top 2 favorite anime's of all time.  In fact it is the anime that brought me back into anime (and pretty much kept me in) after a long period of being out of it.  

It is also the first manga Ive ever read and completed.  With all that said it is not without its cliche's and imitations of other shows.  

SPOILERS TAG FOR THE PUSSIES

Some examples of this are

1.  Renji Abarai's Shikai Zabimaru-I feel like this is copied from Kenshin.  Zabimaru in its shikai is basically like a whip.  (Actually come to think of it the bankai is also like that too but I digress).  Renji can use this shikai and attack and slash people from a distance.  I feel like this is a copy of the sword that the juppongtana member Cho has and is using against kenshin in his fight to save the baby Iori.  

2.  The soul society arc/hueco mundo arc- is an imitation from Yu Yu hakusho Tarukane's mansion arc.  Both include heroes invading an area and doing battles with opposing forces in effort to save a damsel in distress (yukina/rukia/orihime).  Matter of fact flame of recca copies it more blatantly by featuring a mansion being invaded.  In the hueco mundo arc bleach basically copies itself by doing this again. 

3. Any elemental Shikai in bleach-  I feel like this is a copy of Shisio's flame sword from kenshin.  Kenshin is a more down to earth anime in that there is no magic or demons etc.  So for Shisio to have a sword that has flames emanating from it is a big deal.  So much so that I feel like it was used as an inspiration for a handful of Shikai's in bleach.  

4.  Substitute Deathgod arc-  This is an imitation of the first spirit realm detective arc in yu yu hakusho.  A boy acquires powers (Yusuke/Ichigo).  The boy's handler (botan/rukia) assists in guiding him to missions of defeating monsters (yokai in yu yu/hollows in bleach).  Boy defeats a bunch of monsters almost in a monter of the week type fashion to try to maintain the peace.  

5.  Bankai-At a certain point Bleach becomes DBZ with swords and is all about fighting.  I love the whole concept but this is clearly going super saiyajin.  Lets be realistic here.  

6.  Ichigo dying against Ulquiorra and coming back as a hollow-  When this happens Ichigo mops the floor with Ulquiorra after having no chance almost the whole fight.  This is exactly like when Yusuke died and came back as a demonkin and beat the shit out of Sensui.  Complete with the whole being taken possession of (Raizen/Hollow Ichigo).  

In conclusion,  these are some similatirites to other shows with bleach.  These are my opinions.  Idk if this is what the author did purposely or by accident.  Idk where the author got his inspiration from.  In fact all the shows I mentioned could be copying things from other shows I have not seen or heard of. 

blade of the immortal anime review

MAYBE SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW

 

Bro this show seriously sucks.  It is just bad.  It is a good concept executed very poorly.  

I was in the mood for some samurai anime I have never seen before because I have been watching kenshin.  I googled up a list and this came up.  The review said it was good.  Man they either have bad taste or they are lying.  This anime is god awful.  

The fighting and the artwork are top notch.  The story is bullshit though. It is about a young girl whos father is a samurai.  Rival samurai from a different clan attack and kill her father.  They then rape her mother and take the mother hostage.  The little girl then swears revenge.  Lacking the skill to kill the rival clan she convinces a highly skilled samurai to help her. This samurai happens to be immortal. Watch it yourself or google true spoilers if this sounds interesting. 

 Anyway I know this sounds cool but don't be fooled.  I only was able to make it through the first 7 episodes before I had to throw it away.  Every episode is the same shit without any story or character progression.  The girl who is flash forwarded to be 16 years old and the samurai track down or bump into members of the clan and kill them.  Each episode is the same thing though the girl freaks out and cries while the samurai gets his ass whipped. She keeps doing it though.  Over and over with the crying.  The characters are not easy to get behind on either side. For someone so highly he skilled he is constantly getting beat up.  In fact a woman beats him pretty bad early in the series and he comments saying "I wish I could say I am getting serious but Ive been serious the whole time."  The girl constantly feels guilty for having her parents killers/moms rapists killed and cries each time.  I get it in the begining but 7 episodes in and it is still going on makes the series boring and a drag.

The story pacing is bad too.  At times it is hard to understand what is going on.  I feel like it is bad explaining what is happening because Idk who some of these people are.  She also has a hard time finding the resolve to get her revenge and not show mercy or forgiveness to these people.  On top of that while I do enjoy violent/more adult anime I feel like the violence in this is just to shock and in general really has no meaning.  Some assassin guy infiltrates his way into the girl and the immortal samurais group kills a dog and tricks the girl into eating and then laughs hysterically.  And I didnt understand the point of this.  Thats the point where I dropped the show.  

I hate all the characters.  The girl who is supposed to be the good guy sucks. The bad guys arent even cool bad guys.  They are pretty despicable because it goes into graphic detail about the moms gang rape.  And the killing of the dog.  Come on man.  The samurai fight scenes are pretty decent though I will give them that.

 I just stumbled on her music yesterday.  I am digging it a lot.  Her genre is something called witch house which is similar to the synth stuff I have been reviewing.  

Basically her music sounds like crystal castles.  And I like groups that sound like crystal castles.

I am going to grab her albums and do a full scale reviews.

 

 

gintama anime review

 This is your favorite anime's favorite anime.  Gintama is a fantastic anime.  There is action, drama and a lot of comedy in this anime.  

In short this is about a samurai living on an earth that was invaded by and taken over by aliens. He takes 2 kids under his wing and they become a pseudo family performing various odd jobs (aka helping people with their problems).  

It is a very long anime clocking in at 367 episodes (and it hasn't even ended yet,  the movie adapting the end of the manga just released in japan).  I am currently in my second re-watch just because the first watch took me so long to get through.  The early episodes are for the most part self contained stories with the characters doing a customer/task/monster-of-week type of thing.  Gradually as the series progresses there are numerous arc that tell a story with lots of action and violence.  There is a lot of comedy mixed in as well which is what I love about it.  

The comedy is a special type of humor.  There are lewd jokes involving your sex/shit/puke etc.  type of stuff.  There are parody jokes which you will love if you are a fan of other anime.  They reference numeous manga/anime, TV shows and movies (both japanese and western), various japanese and western celebrites.  They also have a lot of childish arguments where a character will try to argue something that doesnt make sense and then wins lol.  Or a character does something blatently dick headed and gets away with it or gets busted red handed and punished vicsciouly for it.  There are also cultural japanese jokes and language puns that will sail right over your head if you are not a native japanese. 

You are really going to dig this based on the anime parodies alone in my book that is why I dug it.  Go on youtube and watch the spouser clip. It is a spoof on the DBZ scouter and if you find it funny then you have to watch the show.  In fact that is why I decided to watch it because of that clip.  I must of watched a 100+ episodes before I got to that point but by then I was thoroughly enjoying the ride.  Off the top of my head they parody or mention bleach, DBZ, kenshin,  Chobits,  Death note, Parasyte the maxim, naruto, hunter x hunter, one piece, berserk, Power rangers, Final Fantasy VII, evangelion. 

I was looking into it because I had just finished a bleach re-watch and I also finished rurouni kenshin and I wanted to watch more samurai anime.  I enjoy samurai anime a lot.  That was what hooked me but I majorly stayed for the humor and parodies.  

The older episodes are more light hearted and enjoyable.  Towards the end with the final villian/altana thing I felt like the story sort of got kind of weak and the action got repetitive.  I stuck with it just because I enjoyed the beginning-middle so much.  Its still good  on anime standards.  Just not as good based on gintama standards.  I finished the manga so I basically know what is coming with the final movie which I will watch down the line.  

The weak ending is what makes this show a 8.5/10 rather then 10/10 anime.  But I do recommend you watch this if you are a seasoned anime veteran.  I dont think a person new to anime would enjoy it as much just because of the references that they might not get.  I have watched a lot of anime and truthfully there were some parodies that I missed just cuz I had never seen the show being referenced. 

 

lost messages-modern disease album review

 I heard these guys by chance on youtube and decided to grab the album.  I have not researched them at all.  Idk if they have a website or even what they look like etc.  Research them yourself if you are that curious.  

I think the album is pretty mediocre.  I have given it numerous play throughs and to be honest with the exception of the track Taste like void (which is stuck in my head even though I havent listened to this album in 6 weeks), is all filler and boring.  They sound like a poor mans body of light (another band).  Taste like void is a fantastic track.  I love the opening keyboard riff especially.  But the rest of the songs on this are just very forgettable.  If this is their first album then they are knocking on the door of finding their sound/having "it."  If it isnt there first album then they choose to suck cuz the rest of this is meh. 

Definatley check out taste like void.  If you like it listen to the rest of the album on youtube before you buy it because you might feel you have been bamboozled. 

I also dont know what genre this falls into.  The singers voice is very raspy and gloomy/gothic so I would say it falls into a mix of gothic and synthwave.  Correct me if I am wrong.
