Tearful moon-Under the redveil album review

This album is fantastic.  It is the first one from them that I heard.  I heard the song I love you to death on youtube by chance.  Loved it and grabbed the album.

It is slightly dark atmosphere with a singing bordering spoken word almost.  It is very danceable too.  They sound like boy harsher.  I love boy harsher and anything that sounds like boy harsher.

Tearful moon's second album is good but this one imo is the best.  The best songs are the lost king, bar in barcelona, and I love you more than death.  The whole album is great.  One of the rare ones you can pop on and not skip any songs.  My favorite song is bar in barcelona.  I like the cadence (I think thats the word) she uses for her singing on this song.

Listen to those tracks I pointed out on Youtube.  But I do definatley reccommend buying this album.  I discovered them about 2 months ago and been listening this album a lot since I grabbed it.

Tearful moon- in the dark morning album review

This is their first album.  It is very synthy and very dark atmosphere wise.  It is more artsy fartsy and not so much dancey.  It is the type of music you would hear in a concert in a bar in williamsburg, Brooklyn.

This album is so-so.  I feel like they are still looking to grow into their actual sound on this one.  The tracks are kind of filler-ish and nothing really catches your ear.  You can forget it all real easy.  I really enjoyed their 2nd and 3rd albums and that is why I listen to this one on regular rotation right now.

I don't really have a favorite (favorites track).  Basically I am meh to the whole thing.  Listen to it on youtube before you purchase this one.  I dont think you will absolutely love it on the first listen.

Bleach anime review

I am having a hard time discussing my thoughts on this show.  I am in I think my 10th re-watch of this series.  I have mixed feelings for it.  I love about 80% and absolutely hate 20% of it.  I have re-watched it a lot.  This will be a long wordy review.  You have been warned.

This anime has a special backstory to it regarding myself as well.  I started watching anime when I was 12 years old.  I watched all of DBZ, sailormoon, and gundam wing as well as other series and movies before toonami even existed.  This was insanely difficult.  It was 1998 and the only way I was able to get access to anime was on the rare occasions when they dubbed a show and showed it at 6am-7am on Saturday morning or if I went to china town and bought bootleg vhs of subtitled animes with japanese audio.  On a side note that is why I prefer subs to dubs its because I started out with having that as 9 out of 10 options available to me.  The other reason I prefer subs is because at that point in time dubs were censored and edited for content while subs were not.  Look into the history of DBZ in the U.S. if you dont believe me.

Anyway I was a child in 1998 and getting money for these tapes with 2-4 episodes was hard to come by.  My family provided me with a good life but I never could get every single thing I could selfishly want lol. So I sort of fell out of anime when I also wanted video games or skateboards or something and I had to make choices on what to buy.

During this time toonami became a thing and became massively popular.  Bringing a lot of series (some even uncensored or not so censored) to the U.S.A. on TV.  Anime had become popular but I was still out of it cuz I had since shifted my focus especially since I was a 1st-2nd year in college.  My college roommate loved bleach and was watching the soul society arc once a week.  The first time I watched it I saw the episode when Gin fought Toshiro.  I thought it was ok.

Fast forward a year later and I am going through rough times and just looking to hang out and watch TV.  I caught 2 episodes on toonami. And I actually thought the Dub was decent.  So I decided to give it a watch (the subs that is lol).

This is the anime that brought me back into anime.  Ever since I watched this I started watching other series.  Some old that I missed when I was a child and some new.  But It made me watch anime very consistently.  And made me a huge fan of the media type in general.

The substitue shinigami arc and the soul society arc are abosolutely amazing.  And this is what makes the show so good.  The story is excellant.  The action/fights are excellant.  The characters are lovable and easy to care about.  There is even a hint of romance at the beginning that also made it interesting.  The first 65ish episodes is actually what made me continue through all the way to the end of the series and subsequent re-watches.  A lot of my re-watches I actually just watched these episodes and then finished the re-watch at that point. If the whole series was just these 65 episodes it would be hands down a perfect 10 of an anime.  Even if it ended on a cliffhanger.

The story is about a shinigami (aka death god aka soul reaper in the US translation) and a human.  The human boy can see ghosts.  The shinigami is basically a go between and guides these ghosts (aka spirits aka souls) to the soul society (aka the afterlife).  The boy who doesnt know about any of this just does what he can to comfort the ghosts.  Souls that linger to long in the world of the livings become hollows (monsters that consume other souls living or dead).  The boy's name is Ichigo.  One day Ichigo is sought after by a hollow and through this event meets the shinigami Rukia.  The hollow attacks member of Ichigo's family to lure him.  Ichigo attacks the hollow but it doesnt do shit.  Rukia gets involved to protect Ichigo and is hurt.  At this point everyone is fucked cuz Rukia is the only one who can defeat the hollow with her shinigami powers.  She transfers her power to Ichigo and he is able to defeat the hollow.  And this is the beginning 2 awesome anime arcs back to back in 65ish gangster episodes.

The pros of the series are these aforementioned 65ish episodes.  There is a lot of violence and blood in these episodes as well.  Apparently when this show was out japanese censorship laws on TV was a lot more lax (I think).  The music throughout the series is really good.  My favorite track is called on the precipice of defeat.  This track really gets me amped up everytime I hear it.  The word bankai gets me amped up everytime I hear it as well.  Watch the series and you will understand why.  The show basically becomes DBZ, mixed with Yu Yu hakusho mixed with swords.  This is a good thing imo cuz that is what I enjoy.

There are a lot of cons.  This is the show that introduced me to filler episodes.  Anime is based off of manga (comics in japan).  The anime usually animated 2 to 3 chapters of manga to one episode.  Meaning that is very easy to use up source material.  The anime generally doesnt go ahead of the manga so if the episodes get aired to the where the current chapter is the anime starts broadcasting filler episodes.  Original episodes written by the shows staff with almost no input from the original creator.  These filler episodes air while the manga gets to a point far ahead of the anime where original source material can be aired again and not be caught up with.  That last sentenced sucked but Idk how to explain it.  Google filler episodes anime for a better explanation.  Filler episodes fucking suck donkey dick.  The bounto arc is straight dog shit.  I watched it all once and Never again.   The charactar mabashi is fucking cunt and I was so happy when he got killed.  Fuck that cock smoking bitch.   I watched another filler arc all the way through and at that point I made it my business to never watch another filler episode again.  The Kasumi-Oogi arc is also garbage.  There are a lot of filler episodes in the series.  I did not watch all of them.  I only watched (and re-watched) the episodes which used the manga as the source material.  Bleach is the reason why I refuse to watch filler episodes.  If I watch a series I will google up the guide to see what is filler and what is not.

Another con is that Towards the middle-ish of the series when the censorship laws became stricter certain scenes were toned down when compared with the manga.  Look for it in the Fake karakura town arc.  It is a scene involving Hiyori.  Also some of the artwork started to look crummy as well at this time.

A lot of the characters were introduced through out the show.  A lot of them were very interesting but they were never elaborated on much after.  Whereas a lot of characters were overexposed.  For example Toshiro Hitsugaya is considered by many to be overexposed.  I personally like him and he is one of my favorites but a lot of people hate him.

There are many interesting plot elements that are introduced but never elaborated on as well.  There are also elements that are elaborated on but the elaboration leaves you saying "give me a break."

The story also gets kind of lame damsel in distress type stuff as it progresses. The fantastic story telling from the first 2 arcs becomes mediocre to acceptable towards the middle to end.  If you stayed long enough to watch it all the way through then it would mean you truly love the series and characters despite what the creator does with them.  And in all honestly it becomes just a big mess with a lot of untied loose ends.

Overall I think the series is a 7/10.  Starting at 10/10 and then gradually coming down.  Thinking about it now, The way it started, the middle and the end will make you think "how in the hell did I get here?"

I do recommend watching this series.  My opinion is very biased of it but I don't care.  If you watch it skip the fillers.  For the love of god do not watch one episode of the bounto arc.

I last re-watched bleach 4 years ago.  I am restarting my re-watch because it was announced awhile ago that the thousand year blood war arc (which is the last arc in the manga) will be animated. Which I am excited about.  I read the manga in its entirity but in this arc I had a hard time following the story so I am hoping that watching it as anime I can follow it better.

Also I recommend with my biased opinion to read the manga as well.

Btw thank you if you read this all the way through.

HAIRLICIOUSLY Dr.Pen Review

This is a microneedling device review.  This device is a automated microneedling machine.  It is supposed to be an alternative to the dermaroller.  I like the idea of it because it allows for adjusting of the needle length.  So that you can start with small needles and then gradually increase to the length.  Also the needles are straight vs the angled needles on the dermaroller.  The angled needles on the dermaroller supposedly cause tearing of the skin while the straight needles on the Hairliciously dr.pen are supposed to cause less damage to the skin.  Also it is supposed to be faster and easier to use then the dermaroller.

I bought 2 of these.  One for myself and one for someone else.  The one I got for myself lasted about 4 months before the button broke rendering it unable to be turned on. It is pretty useless so I threw it away.  I paid about $150 for this.  I am honestly disappointed that it did not even last a year.

The other one I bought for someone else the person gave it back to me cuz they chickened out on using needles on themselves.  So I thought great I have a fast replacement.  I bought this one on sale because I got an email advertising a discount.  This one lasted a month and the button broke tonight on my scheduled use so now I have to take a break from microneedling while I try to grab a new device.

I would not recommend The Hairliciously dr.pen because it is very fragile.  I did not even drop it or misuse it and it still broke.  It is a very unreliable device.  I will be grabbing another brand of microneedling device and will update on the future on whether it is good or bad.

On the bright side the batteries that come with are fantastic.  I got numerous uses out it before I had to throw it on the charger.

BTW if you would like to know more about the dermaroller and/or microneedling (or what it is supposed to do) I recommend you google it.  My personal preferences for information on this topic is perfecthairhealth.com and hairguard,  as well as youtube channels more plates more dates, kerotin brotherhood.

Lastly while I do not like this product I do like Hairliciously's youtube channel and I find it very informative and entertaining and it will help shed some light on the subject of microneedling for you in addition to those other sources I named.

I have not purchased any other products from Hairliciously so it is also possible that his other products are good but Idk for sure.

yu yu hakusho anime review

I have watched this anime in its entirety 3 times.  And I enjoy it more and more every time I watch it.  I am currently on my 4th re-watch and I am really enjoying it. I am currently right at the end of the Dark Tournament (aka Ankakou Bujutsu).  Each time I have re-watched I've started to appreciate different parts that I might not have appreciated as much in my past watches.

Story wise it is about a deliquent boy who dies performing a good deed.  He has to go through certain trials to re-gain his life.  Once his life is regained he is now a tapped to be a spirit detective.  Someone who protects humanity against demons from a demon realm.  From that point it becomes more about fighting with DBZ style tournaments as well as fights to save humanity.

The characters are easy to care about.  The fights are very entertaining.  The story is very well done.  Some aspects of the animation/artwork are kind of crummy.  For example towards the end of the chapter black saga the animation in the fight with Yusuke and Sensui while they are still in the cavern looks freaking awful.  The part where Yusuke fucks with sensui by randomly swimming in a lake is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye what so ever. It is violent and has some adult aspects to it as well.  I love the music.  The opening theme song is great I watch it all the way through every episode.  I like the re-cap music as well.  And I like the sad song too.

If you like DBZ or shonen anime/manga in general you should definatly check it out.  This show is regarded as a classic on many peoples lists.  If you do watch this stick it out at least until the end of the first tournament that it is when it is really peaking.  If you dont enjoy it at the point to make it through the final 2 arcs then you honestly have no taste and should go watch some crum bum shit like american horror story lol.

I have only seen this in the original Japanese audio with english subtitiles.  Honestly it is a Japanese show and I think its best to watch it as how it is originally.  Ive heard the English Dub is good but I wouldn't know as because I generally avoid English Dubs.

My fav fights are:

1. Kurama vs Shigure  (this is my favorite one).

2. Kuwabara vs Elder toguro at the ankaku Bujutsu

3. Yusuke vs Togure at the ankaku Bujutsu

Ive also read the manga in its entirety but I did not find it as enjoyable.  Mostly because I dont think the artwork was that great.  The story is fantastic however so it is a better choice then most others.

Nina Belief - Shivers album review

I posted a song from her previously.  That song was unbelievably good.  I loved it.  So much so that I grabbed this album and another album of hers (the other one I have not listened to yet but I will and the review will be coming for it).

Honestly I am not at all impressed with this album.  It is nowhere near that one song I posted and is pretty mediocre.  Today was the 4th time I listened to it in its entirety.  The best song on the album is their path.  And to be honest that one is pretty forgettable itself.

I recommend listening to it on youtube or stream it somewhere before you decide to make the purchase.

It is possible that with further listens this album will grow on me but for now it does not leave a lasting first impression.  That song (whos name I dont know) that I made the post about is like comparing night and day.  Almost as if 2 different musicians made them.

I am going to keep listening to it anyway and I would see her concert.

Also Nina Belief is just like tearful moon in the sense that they dont have an official website and only a facebook page.  So I honestly dont know any details regarding this group.

Nina Belief (Live @ Waveteef 2019 - JH De Wommel)

This song is awesome.  I wish I knew what the name of it was.

Direction of blog

I made this blog in 2009 and I published many posts.  Idk if people read them or not and I don't care.  Anyway I posted a negative review of a service and the business owner started sending me threats.  I didn't want to deal with it so I deleted the review.  I later then deleted every other post on here.  I don't remember much of them.

Anyway I googled how to make money on the side and one of the choices was start a blog.  I don't actually understand how to make money blogging. But I remembered I already had one. So I am going to make posts more often and see what happens.  Worst comes to worst I lose nothing.  Best comes to best I find my niche for it.  For now I am going to focus on reviewing products and services and really anything I feel like.  Music, movies, TV, shoes, food, everything under the sun.

I am going to post truthful reviews and I will pull no punches.  And if another business owner gets on my case about it this time I will tell them to suck a dick.   I am not some artsy fartsy douche and I am a regular guy and if I like something I will get straight to the point on why I like it  even if it is for a simple reason.  I like what I like regardless of popularity.  If it is trendy great.  If it isn't I don't care I am going to like it anyway.  And vice versa for things I hate.

Tearful moon-evocation album review

I don't know what genre this band counts as.  I would say darkwave/synthwave.  A lot of the songs on this is really electric keyboard heavy.  And it makes you want to dance and puts you in a good mood.  The lady that sings has some semi-dark lyrics though.  I am not very good with lyrics but it sounds like she is singing about an ex or exes that treated her like dirt.

Two songs however are very 80s postpunk/punk sounding.  These songs are the perfect devil and parasite where they have a punkish sounding bass playing on both.  My favorite tracks are impatient patient and cold and burning truth.

I like this album a lot and I have been listening to it a lot lately.  You should buy it because it is pretty good.  All the songs are very good if you are into the boy harsher sound.  They remind me of boy harsher.

This album actually came out in 2018 but I just heard it about 2 months ago so it is new to me.  I found them through a youtube reccomendation.

I believe this is their second album.  I have heard their first one and their third as well and I will be posting reviews of them in the future.  I actually don't know much about this band.  I think they are from texas.  Idk what the band members names are.  They have a facebook page but no actual website.  I don't do facebook so until they decide to make a true website I will not bother to research them.  I would see their concert though.
